Mayhem in Opera
October 2023
“Mayhem in Opera” featured Brenna Markey, Soprano, Patrick Wilhelm, Baritone, and Artistic Director Mary Pinto. This concert took listeners on a journey of Opera’s most beloved star-crossed lovers, cases of mistaken identity, and unrequited love-driven madness. The singers were accompanied by Artistic Director Mary Pinto.
Opera Everlasting

Soprano Julianne Casey and Tenor Matthew Cerillo perform a concert of arias and duets accompanied by The Rose Quartet, a group of four instrumentalists in residence at Montclair State University's John J. Cali School of Music. The singers are accompanied by Artistic Director Mary Pinto.

Opera couple Pedro Barrera, tenor, and Sarah Sherman Barrera, soprano, perform a mix of operatic favorites, Andrea Bocelli classics, and a touch of musical theater in a cabaret style setting.
Extraordinary young singers pursuing careers as vocal artists competed for $13,500 in prizes in this final round of Opera at Florham's 33rd Annual International Vocal Competition. Amanda Batista, soprano, won 1st.
Soprano Toni Palmertree, bass-baritone Yue Wu, tenor Matthew Cerillo, and soprano Courtney San Martin sing opera arias and duets from operas depicting historical and fictional royalty and similarly themed songs from Broadway musicals.
Tenor Theron Cromer, mezzo-soprano Cornelia Lotito and baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli performed holiday selections from around the world. Featuring rising stars from Fairleigh Dickinson and Montclair State universities and commentator Mariana Karpatova singing a Bulgarian folk song from her homeland.
The Madness that Exists in Opera

Opera is filled with "madness," the crazy behaviors of characters who are mad and going mad, wrathful and demented. Soprano Joanna Parisi, tenor Samuel White and bass baritone Bradley Walker perform "madness" themed songs from operas portraying insanity and similarly themed songs from musical theater.
40th Anniversary Celebration

Opera at Florham celebrates 40 years honoring founders Charles Del Rosso, Violetta DuPont and Steve DeMaio with a performance by soprano Alexandra Razskazoff, baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli, mezzo-soprano Shanley Horvitz, tenor Frederick Schlick and acclaimed accompanist Mary Pinto.
