The Madness that Exists in Opera
Opera is filled with "madness," the crazy behaviors of characters who are mad and going mad, wrathful and demented. Soprano Joanna Parisi, tenor Samuel White and bass baritone Bradley Walker perform "madness" themed songs from operas portraying insanity and similarly themed songs from musical theater.
40th Anniversary Celebration
Opera at Florham celebrates 40 years honoring founders Charles Del Rosso, Violetta DuPont and Steve DeMaio with a performance by soprano Alexandra Razskazoff, baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli, mezzo-soprano Shanley Horvitz, tenor Frederick Schlick and acclaimed accompanist Mary Pinto. Love, Death and Redemption
Love, conflict, deceit, tragedy, forgiveness and redemption. This is opera! Soprano Maria Natale and baritone Joseph Lodato perform opera selections representing these common themes in opera by Puccini, Verdi, Leoncavallo and Mascagni, and similarly themed selections composed for musical theater.
2022 Vocal Competition
Ten finalists demonstrate exceptional talent in the operatic art form before a celebrated collection of jurists accompanied by Artistic Director, Mary Pinto. First place - soprano Chelsea Lehnea. Second - mezzo-soprano Lisa Rogali. Third - soprano Shanley Horvitz.
