Ten finalists demonstrated exceptional talent in the operatic art form before a celebrated collection of jurists. Each contestant sang two arias accompanied on piano by Artistic Director, Mary Pinto. First place was awarded to soprano Chelsea Lehnea, whose voice was praised by Artistic Director Mary Pinto as "warm, stunning and thrilling." Second place was awarded to mezzo-soprano Lisa Rogali, and third to soprano Shanley Horvitz.

Soprano Maria Natale and baritone Joseph Lodato performed opera selections that represent "love, death and redemption," three common themes in opera. We heard the music of Puccini, Verdi, Leoncavallo and Mascagni, and similarly themed selections composed for musical theater. The singers were accompanied by Artistic Director, Mary Pinto. Narration was provided by Mariana Karpatova.

Opera arias, classic carols and family favorites for the holidays were performed by soprano Julianne Casey and baritone Kevin Jasaitis from the Mannes School of Music, joined by rising stars from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. The concert featured the beautiful voice of mezzo-soprano Mariana Karpatova, our program narrator. Piano accompaniment was provided by Artistic Director Mary Pinto

Five artists lived their Bohemian dreams with soprano Molly Dunn, coloratura soprano Jaime Webb, tenor Frederick Schlick, baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli and bass Zachary Elmassian. The singers performed scenes from Giacomo Puccini's masterpiece, La bohème, and other operatic gems.. Accompaniment by Artistic Director Mary Pinto. Narration by Mariana Karpatova.
