Of 108 vocalists competing at preliminaries in New York City, eleven finalists were selected for the 31st Annual Vocal Competition honoring Violetta Dupont on May 5, 2019. The $5000 first prize was granted to Alexandra Razskazoff, soprano. 2nd place winner Joshua Sanders, tenor, was awarded $3,000. 3rd place Jongwon Han, bass-baritone, was awarded $1,500. The other finalists each received a $250 Encouragement Award.
