The Joy of Opera lecture is offered as part of Opera at Florham's Outreach and Education series. The program is FREE but please register with the Madison Library.

Be transformed by the the music and performance that is Opera! Music educator Lou Barrella will elicit an appreciation of opera for both seasoned opera lovers and new-comers alike. He intends to excite the appetites of all those who love this glorious art form by sharing insights into the minds and souls of the composers whose works still affect us today. Listen to recorded musical excerpts, watch video selections and learn from the narrative. Enjoy an experience of intellectual stimulation and musical pleasure, reflecting real life situations that everyone can relate to.
