Opera Educator Lou Barrella presents Opera Talk: Operatic Variations by Rossini & Verdi
Gioachino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi were celebrated composers during their lifetimes. Among those honoring them were other composers who took their Arias and created new musical compositions. In this presentation you will hear six wonderful melodies, four by Rossini and two by Giuseppe Verdi in the original sung versions and in instrumental variations, pairing the serious with some amusing and entertaining excerpts!
