About the event
A lighter program, not opera driven but with opera and operetta interwoven for a more diverse musical experience. Observe the similarities of the two genres and how operetta grew out of the opera art form. Then move on to another more contemporary art form influenced by opera - musical theater. Note this Musicale will take place an hour later than usual and at a different venue than usual. Masks must be worn throughout the event. General admission is $25 but we are adding $3 to online purchases to cover COVID expenses and credt card fees. This is a large venue with plenty of seating arranged according to COVID guidelines - walks-ins are allowed with payment accepted at the door. More...
