Extraordinary young singers pursuing careers as vocal artists from the U.S. and abroad compete for prizes totaling $10,000 in this final round of the 32nd annual Vocal Competition & Musicale honoring VIoletta DuPont. The public is invited to watch 8 to 12 finalists demonstrate exceptional talent in the operatic art form before a celebrated collection of jurists, accompanied on piano by Artistic Director, Mary Pinto

Opera singers compete May 27, 28 & 29 at preliminaries in New York City hosted by the Gerda Lissner Foundation. Contestants - fill out the 2020 application by April 23, 2020.  Address questions to

In the final round of the 31st Annual Vocal Competition on May 5, 2019, 11 finalists - pared down from 108 auditioners the week before - sang arias accompanied on piano by Mary Pinto. First prize ($5,000) was awarded to Alexandra Razskazoff, soprano; 2nd ($3,000) to Joshua Sanders, tenor, and 3rd ($1,500) to Jongwon Han, bass baritone.
